Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 12 oz sirloin or ribeye steak
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and season the steak with salt and pepper. Sear each side for 4-5 minutes until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add minced garlic and honey, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in the soy sauce and red pepper flakes; simmer for 2 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the steak and sauce mixture in the skillet; toss well to coat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or basil before serving.
