  • 2 tsp oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the protein powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix water, egg whites, yogurt (or applesauce), and sweetener until blended.
  3. Gradually stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until smooth. Adjust liquid with more water if necessary.
  4. Preheat the waffle maker according to instructions and grease it lightly.
  5. Pour batter into the center of the preheated waffle iron and close the lid. Cook until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Repeat greasing the iron between batches to prevent sticking.
