- 1 Tbsp Garlic Pepper
- 2 Tbsp Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 15 oz Can Tomato Sauce
- 1 Bag (8.5 oz) Barilla Ready Pasta Rotini
- Granular Sugar Substitute (like stevia or Swerve)
- Crushed Red Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Marinate the Chicken: In a resealable bag, combine garlic pepper, parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, add to the bag, shake until coated, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. Cook the Chicken: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat with nonstick cooking spray. Add marinated chicken in an even layer; cook for about 4 minutes before flipping. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until no longer pink.
- 3. Prepare the Pasta and Sauce: Microwave pasta according to package instructions. In a bowl, mix tomato sauce with remaining garlic pepper and sweetener.
- 4. Combine Everything: Add cooked pasta and sauce mixture to the skillet with chicken; stir thoroughly and simmer until heated through.
- 5. Serve: Remove from heat and enjoy your healthy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta.
