Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by mixing chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken evenly with this spice mixture and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Sear the chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Let it rest before slicing into strips.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, sauté minced garlic in vegetable oil until fragrant. Add heavy cream and stir continuously until it thickens slightly. Set aside.
- Boil water in a pot and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Once done, drain them and set aside.
- In another pot, heat sesame oil and sauté minced garlic until aromatic. Add chicken broth and soy sauce along with heavy cream. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes to combine flavors.
- Assemble bowls with cooked noodles, pour spicy broth over top, add sliced chicken, and drizzle with creamy garlic sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and a drizzle of chili oil if desired. Serve hot.
