- 15 oz can chickpeas
- 2 – 3 Tbsp almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)
- 1/2 cup nut butter (cashew butter recommended)
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 2/3 cup chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Rinse and drain the chickpeas, optionally removing the skins for creaminess.
- In a food processor, blend the chickpeas until well mixed. Gradually add almond milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup while blending until creamy (about 2 minutes).
- Add the nut butter and blend until fully combined.
- Mix in cacao powder until thick and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary (approximately 1 minute).
- Transfer to a bowl and gently stir in chocolate chunks.
