Ingredients
- 32 oz marinara sauce
- ½ lb ground turkey (or beef)
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer briefly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Set four ramekins on a baking sheet for easy handling.
- Spoon a thin layer of meat sauce into each ramekin as the base.
- Add half a cup of the ricotta mixture on top of the meat sauce.
- Layer with more meat sauce, about half a cup each.
- Top each ramekin with a thick slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Broil under high heat until bubbly and golden, about 10 minutes.
