- 4 slices thick cut turkey bacon (diced)
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
- 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and fresh ground pepper (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked or sweet paprika
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon dried dill weed
- ½ teaspoon dried chives
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook diced turkey bacon until crispy; set aside.
- In the same skillet, brown pounded chicken breasts seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika for about 2-3 minutes per side.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, and chives until smooth.
- Place cooked chicken in the baking dish; spread cream cheese mixture on top.
- Sprinkle turkey bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over each chicken breast.
- Bake uncovered for about 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
