  • 1 cup organic pure cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Cinnamon and sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together vegan butter and sugar until smooth. Add applesauce and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed. Chill dough if too soft.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and coat in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
